Organised Pack

Pack privacy policy

Version 0.1, draft, 15 August 2026

The short version

  • Pack has no accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log in to.
  • Your trips, your wardrobe photos, your outfits and your checklists stay on your iPhone. We cannot see any of them.
  • Pack has no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
  • The only information that leaves your phone is what is needed to run a subscription, if you choose to buy one.
  • Deleting the app deletes the data with it, so back up your phone if you want to keep it.

Organised Pack is made by Organised Apps Lab Pty Ltd in Brisbane, Australia. This policy explains what Pack does with your information, and is written to follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Our general privacy policy covers our website and emailing us.

What Pack stores, and where

Everything you put into Pack is stored on your iPhone, inside the app's own storage. That includes:

None of it is sent to us. We do not operate a server for Pack, we hold no copy of your data, and we have no way to look at it. Pack works with no internet connection at all.

Photographs

When you add a wardrobe item, Pack asks permission to use your camera or your photo library. It only receives the images you specifically choose. Those images are copied into Pack's own storage on the device and stay there. Pack does not read the rest of your photo library and does not upload photographs anywhere.

Backups

Pack does not exclude itself from your iPhone backup. If you have iCloud Backup or encrypted computer backups turned on, Pack's data is intended to be included along with everything else on your phone. That backup belongs to you and is handled by Apple under Apple's terms. We have no access to it and we cannot restore it for you.

Because we hold no copy of anything, a backup is the only way your trips, wardrobe and photographs survive a lost or replaced phone. It is worth checking that your iPhone backup is turned on and recent.

If you buy a subscription

Pack Premium is a subscription bought through the App Store. Two other companies are involved, and this is the only information about a purchase that leaves your phone.

Apple

Apple takes the payment, not us. Your card details, your Apple Account and your billing information go to Apple and are never given to us. We only ever learn that a purchase happened, never how it was paid for.

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to keep track of whether a subscription is active, so that Pack knows to unlock premium features and so that restoring a purchase works on a new phone. When you buy, renew, restore or cancel, RevenueCat receives:

RevenueCat stores this in the United States. It does not receive your trips, your photographs, your outfits or your checklists, and it has no way to reach them.

If you never buy a subscription, none of this happens.

Keeping the app up to date

Pack is built with Expo, and it uses Expo's update service so that we can correct a fault without waiting for a new App Store release. When you open Pack, it asks Expo's servers whether a newer version of the app is available. That request tells Expo which version of Pack you are running, what kind of device it is, and a randomly generated identifier for the installation. Expo stores this in the United States.

This is not analytics and it is not tracking. Expo does not receive your trips, your photographs, your outfits or your checklists, and it has no way to reach them. It is the only other thing Pack sends anywhere.

What Pack does not do

Information sent overseas

Two things go overseas. The subscription information described above is held by RevenueCat in the United States, and the payment information you give directly to Apple is handled by Apple. The update check described above is handled by Expo, also in the United States. Everything else stays on your phone in your own possession.

Getting at your information, changing it, or deleting it

Your Pack data is on your phone, so you already have it. You can edit or delete anything in the app at any time.

Deleting Pack from your phone deletes its data with it. That cannot be undone by us, because we never had a copy. If you want to keep it, back up your phone first.

To ask what subscription information is held about you, or to have it deleted, email hello@organisedappslab.com.au. We will reply within 30 days. Note that Apple must keep purchase records for its own tax and accounting purposes, and that is out of our hands.

If you stop paying

Nothing you made is deleted or hidden. Your trips, your wardrobe and your outfits all stay on your phone and stay visible. You simply cannot add beyond the free limits until you subscribe again.

Keeping it safe

Your Pack data is protected by your iPhone. It sits in the app's private storage, where other apps cannot read it, and it is covered by your device passcode, Face ID or Touch ID and by iOS encryption. The strongest protection we can offer is the one we have chosen, which is not to collect it in the first place.

Children

Pack is rated suitable for all ages and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.

Complaints

Email hello@organisedappslab.com.au and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

Changes to this policy

If Pack changes how it handles information, we will update this page and change the version and date at the top before that version of the app is released.

This policy was prepared by Organised Apps Lab and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It describes what Pack actually does as at the date above. The answers given in App Store Connect's App Privacy questionnaire must match this page exactly.
