Clyde reads science fiction.

Clyde lives in a reading nook with a view of Saturn, a dog asleep on the rug and far too many opinions about science fiction.

Ask him about a book and you won’t get a summary. You’ll get a view. He remembers what you’ve read, what you loved, what you hated, and he is perfectly happy to tell you when he thinks you’re wrong.

The next conversation starts where the last one ended.

Clyde remembers enough about you and your reading life that you don’t have to keep introducing yourself.

Clyde won’t just hand back a safe summary. Sometimes he’ll agree with you. Sometimes he absolutely won’t.

He picks up where you left off.

Come back tomorrow, next week or after the next book. You’re continuing a relationship, not starting another chat.

Clyde is first. He will not be the last.

A collection of different characters built around the things people genuinely care about. Each one has their own personality, interests and point of view. Clyde starts with books. The next Companion will have a world of their own.
